Choosing a Website Hosting Provider

I went with an eco-friendly web host for my website. The one I use has a solar powered facility.

I have found them to be quite reliable and to really care; the customer service has been excellent. Their prices are competitive.

I recognize that I paid a bit more for this, then perhps some of the other hosting companies, but not that much more and I got to go with my values.

(There are also other website hosting companies that are carbon neutral.)

I think each step counts! And for me, this was a good step to take.

Energy

It would be really cool to put solar cells on the roof of a car.

All day long when a car is sitting outside and the sun is shining on it, it could be collecting some of that energy.

What do you think?

I even saw a place in Europe where they have solar panels all along the highway.

Any thoughts on this?
